At Lucent Gardens, our success stems from the idea and leadership of a remarkable individual – Mr. Dilip Murkute. Our founder and visionary behind our success, Dilip, has led Lucent Gardens to become a beacon of excellence in landscape design, development and maintenance with a diverse background in hospitality management and a keen eye for detail.
Before starting his entrepreneurial journey, Dilip Murkute began his career with prestigious names in the hotel industry, including Oberoi and Taj groups. His deep understanding of client needs and his commitment to quality laid the foundation for Envocare, a successful pest control startup he founded in 2013. Under his leadership, Envocare grew from a modest operation to a leading player in the industry, eventually being acquired by Rentokil PCI which is worlds biggest Pest management company. This success story is a testament to Dilip’s vision, strategic acumen, and dedication.
Building on his entrepreneurial success, Dilip turned his attention to another emerging need: professional landscaping and horticulture services. In response to the growing demand for sustainable and beautifully designed green spaces, he founded Lucent Gardens. His goal was to fill a gap in the market with a company that values innovation, sustainability, and exceptional service.
Dilip’s vision for Lucent Gardens is clear: to create and maintain outdoor environments that enhance the beauty and functionality of every space, whether residential, commercial, or institutional. He believes that every garden should be a reflection of its owner’s personality and a testament to thoughtful design and care.

Manish Mishra, our Head of Maintenance, has been instrumental in Lucent Gardens’ growth, both in terms of clientele and brand reputation. He ensures high standards of garden aesthetics through meticulous planning, planting, and maintenance of all landscaping activities across India. With over 13 years in the landscaping industry, he possesses a keen eye for detail and extensive industry knowledge, which he readily shares with his team through training and support. He actively seeks out challenging and complex projects and maintains a positive, can-do attitude.

Before joining Lucent Gardens, Manish worked on several high-profile projects, including Universal School Tardeo Mumbai, Tata Housing – Boisar, Tata Bungalow, Hotel Sky Hilton, Nizammudin Expressway-Delhi, and Welspun Advance Material. He collaborated closely with industry giants like Welspun, Reliance, Tata, and Godrej. This experience has been invaluable in understanding how to maintain strong relationships with our current and potential clients.
Manish holds a B.Sc in Botany (First Class) from the University Of Mumbai (2011) and a Diploma in Agribusiness Management (A Grade) from Welingkar Institute (2013).
His commitment to providing exceptional service and his ability to tackle even the most challenging projects with ease makes him a valuable asset to our organisation.
Mr. Kaustubh Bargode
Head of Development
Mr. Kaustubh Bargode our Head of Development plays a pivotal role in our organisation, specialising in Landscape Design and Development. He is responsible for the design and implementation of aesthetically pleasing and functional outdoor spaces for a diverse range of properties, including residential, commercial, and public. This role requires a deep understanding of horticulture, landscape construction, and design principles. He collaborates closely with clients to understand their needs and with contractors to ensure the successful execution of landscape
Mr. Kaustubh Bargode our Head of Development plays a pivotal role in our organisation, specialising in Landscape Design and Development. He is responsible for the design and implementation of aesthetically pleasing and functional outdoor spaces for a diverse range of properties, including residential, commercial, and public. This role requires a deep understanding of horticulture, landscape construction, and design principles. He collaborates closely with clients to understand their needs and with contractors to ensure the successful execution of landscape plans. His expertise in both the technical and business aspects of the
industry makes him an ideal representative for the company.
Mr. Kaustubh brings over twelve years of professional experience in landscape design, garden layout, and garden maintenance. His extensive experience enables him to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, from site preparation to budget management. His impressive portfolio includes notable projects such as New Heaven – Tata Housing, Zhaveri Wadi – Alibaug, JSW Miyawaki Park – Boisar, APM Terminals – Gujarat, and BKC Corporate Office – Mumbai.
Mr. Kaustubh holds a B.Sc in Botany (2010) from Mumbai University, which he completed with 1st Class honors. He further enhanced his qualifications with a Diploma in AgriBusiness Management (2012) from Welingkar School, Mumbai.
